Housing Mailbox and Delivery
Student Postal Services
Mailboxes are located in the mailroom between Osprey Hall and Candy Cane Lake. The Housing office will assign each resident a Housing Box upon arrival on campus. Resident's housing box remains the same throughout his/her time in UNF Housing. The correct mailing address format for students living on campus is as follows:
RESIDENT'S
NAME
11800 UNF Drive, #______
Jacksonville, FL 32224-2668
To ensure prompt mail delivery, do not deviate from the format above. Students receiving packages will be notified with a package slip in their mailbox. Photor identification is required for pickup. The Campus' Post Office is located in Building 6.
Students not living on-campus for Summer A 2008 must arrange to have all personal mail sent directly to their off campus address/point of contact. This includes, but is not limited to: notifying family, friends, financial institutions; including banks and credit card companies, phone companies and magazine/periodical publishers of your new off campus address.
The Department of Housing Operations will continue to deliver mail to all Spring 2008 mailboxes until Friday, May 9, 2008. After that date only mail for Summer A 2008 residents will be delivered to on-campus mailboxes.
After Friday, May 9, 2008 all unclaimed first-class mail for individuals not living on-campus for Summer A 2008 will be stamped “Return to Sender”. Please note that non-first class mail cannot be returned to sender and will be discarded. Housing Operations will not hold or forward any unclaimed mail.
