Important Facts about Paying Your
Spring 2008Housing Invoice

You have several options to consider:

1. Payment in full by check, credit card or money order.

HOW? Simply make the check or money order payable to the University of North Florida for the entire amount of the invoice and pay at the Cashier’s Office, Building 1, Room 1230. Make sure to indicate Spring 2008 Housing. The due date for Fall rent is November 30, 2007.

You may pay with credit card by accessing the University of North Florida's web site using the following process:

• Go to http://www.unf.edu
• On the right side of the page, click on "myWings."
• Enter student ID and password.
• Select "Academics/Students."
• Click on the box that says "Click Here to Review and pay Your Bill."
• Print a copy of the "credit card receipt" and return it to the Housing Office.

Please note the following:
There is a 1.5% non-refundable convenience fee for using this service.
UNF does not accept VISA as a form of payment.

2. The Florida Prepaid Dormitory Program:

This method will cover the cost of a double occupancy air conditioned space as approved by The Florida Prepaid Dormitory Program. Any student in a triple occupancy room using this method of payment will be covered. However, if you are in a triple, The Florida Prepaid Dormitory Program requires you to complete The Waiver and Release Form and mail it to Housing Operations by July 16, 2007:

Some of our double occupancy rooms will not be covered totally, so the student will have an additional amount to pay by the due date (November 30, 2007). Please contact our accounting office to determine that amount.

HOW? Please provide a copy of your Florida Pre-Paid Dormitory card to the accounting office in housing by the same due date (November 30, 2007).

3. Financial Aid:

You will need to review each award and determine if your housing payment is eligible to be paid by financial aid. If, according to the estimate, you have been awarded enough financial aid to cover all of your expenses, no payment will be required at this time. However, you still need to complete and submit the worksheet. If financial aid does not cover all of the housing rent, the portion not covered is due by November 30, 2007. Access your myWings account to determine the amount of financial aid available for housing. Submit the pending worksheet, provide a copy of your award letter, and make a payment if necessary to the housing office.
