What is Intersession Housing?
Intersession Housing is the period between August 1 - August 22, 2008 that permits current Summer B 2008 residents, under certain conditions, to either live on campus in a temporary space (Osprey Hall) or store their items in their Fall 2008 assignment.
If your schedule is not flexible (i.e., you have made travel plans or you have purchased plane tickets for a specific date) you may not be able to participate in Intersession Housing. Please carefully review ALL of the information provided below.
Who is eligible to store personal items on campus during Intersession?
Summer B 2008 residents who have a Fall 2008 assignment AND have paid or deferred their Fall 2008 rent may request to store personal items in their Fall 2008 assignment.

Who is eligible to live on campus during Intersession?
Current non-First Time In College (FTIC) Summer B residents who have a Fall 2008 assignment AND have paid or deferred their Fall 2008 rent may request to live on campus for Intersession in Osprey Hall.
New First Time In College (FTIC) students are not permitted to live on campus during Intersession.
How much does it cost to participate in Intersession?

How do I sign-up for Intersession Housing?
The deadline for Fall 2008 Intersession was July 25th. We are currently not accepting Fall 2008 Intersession Forms.
When do I pay the Intersession fee?
This fee must be paid no later than 5:00pm Thursday, July 31, 2008. You will not be permitted to move to your Intersession assignment until you are able to provide proof of payment for Fall housing (receipt and/or a copy of your Fall Pending Agreement). The Intersession fee must be paid in full to the Cashier's Office (during regular business hours) located in Building 1.
Where will I live for Intersession?
Current non-First Time In College (FTIC) residents who have a Summer B assignment, a Fall 2008 assignment, have paid or deferred their Fall 2008 rent AND have paid the Intersession Housing fee will be assigned to a temporary double room in Osprey Hall.
What is the Check-In process for Intersession?
Beginning at 8:00am on Friday, August 1, 2008 you should come to the Central Housing Office to gain access to your Intersession room (Osprey Hall) and complete the necessary check-in paperwork. Since we are coordinating many room transfers, you must be available to move your belongings on Friday, August 1, 2008 and check-out of your Summer B 2008 room no later than 3pm on Friday, August 1, 2008.
What if I do not move to my Intersession assignment in Osprey Hall by 3:00pm Friday, August 1, 2008?
If Housing Operations has to move any personal items and/or clean your Summer B 2008 assignment, you will be assessed a minimum fee of $500.
When am I able to move to my Fall 2008 assignment?
On Monday, August 18, 2008 you must come to the Central Housing Office (8am – 5pm) to check into your Fall 2008 assignment. You must be checked-out of your temporary assignment in Osprey Hall and moved to your Fall 2008 assignment NO LATER THAN 5:00pm on Monday, August 18, 2008
